Can I import my MYOB customer balances?

Customer account balances can be imported from MYOB into Onsight. Your sales reps can then view the balances inside the Onsight app.

When we set up the connector for you, please request that we activate the syncing of customer balances. After this your customer balances will now be visible inside Onsight. To see the balances in the app:

  • Log into the Onsight app
  • Find the customer record
  • Look at the ‘Extra Information’ section.
  • The balances will be shown in the fields called: ‘Accounts Receivable Outstanding’ and ‘Accounts Receivable Overdue’.

Customer balances can also be viewed in the admin console:

  • Log in to the Onsight Admin Console at http://web.onsightapp.com/
  • Click on ‘Customers’ from the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the name of one of your customers.
  • Click the ‘Custom Fields’ tab.
  • The balances will be shown in the fields called: ‘Accounts Receivable Outstanding’ and ‘Accounts Receivable Overdue’.

Lastly, customer balances can also be displayed on your order or quote PDFs. To enable this you need to purchase a customisation for your order / quote template.

  • Log in to the Onsight admin console at http://web.onsightapp.com/.
  • Click on ‘Setup’ in the left-hand side menu.
  • Click on the ‘Services’ menu item.
  • Choose “Quote PDF changes” and/or “Order PDF changes”
  • Complete the payment

Our support team will contact you to find out the details of where the fields should be displayed. Once your order / quote templates have been modified all new orders / quotes will display your customer balances.
