Packs are collections of products that are grouped and sold together. You can add a pack to a quote or order as a single line item. You can also add all the individual items inside that pack as individual line items on the quote or order. Packs themselves can be linked together to show different relationships. These relationships can then be displayed inside the Onsight app. Associated packs are complementary packs to the current pack. Alternative packs are replacement packs for the current pack.
To load associated packs, do this:
- Log in to the Onsight admin console at http://web.onsightapp.com/
- Click on ‘Catalogue’ from the left-hand side menu
- Click on the ‘Manage Packs’ menu item
- Click on the product you would like to allocate associated packs to
- Click on the ‘Associated Pack’ tab
- Enter the associated pack’s name in the ‘Pack’ search field
- Click on the associated pack’s name
- Once the appropriate pack is selected, click the ‘Add’ button
- Click the ‘Save’ button found at the bottom of the screen to commit the changes made
- Log in to the Onsight admin console at http://web.onsightapp.com/
- Click on ‘Catalogue’ from the left-hand side menu
- Click on the ‘Manage Packs’ menu item
- Click on the name of the pack you would like to allocate alternative packs to
- Click on the ‘Alternative Pack’ tab
- Enter the alternative pack’s name in the ‘Pack’ search field
- Click on the alternative pack’s name
- Once the appropriate pack is selected, click the ‘Add’ button
- Click the ‘Save’ button found at the bottom of the screen to commit these changes
